February 7th -- Awaken your Heart Mandala Class--Sold Out, but contact us if you want to be on the wait list.

February 14th -- Celebrate Valentine's Day making Paste Papers. Such decorated papers have been used for 400 years by bookbinders as endpapers, by cabinet makers to line cupboards, chests and boxes and to decorate walls and ceilings. As with all our classes, no previous experience is necessary to create these beautiful papers.

February 21st -- Let your imagination soar with Soul Painting. A perfect way to work on unblocking the inhibitions that prevent you from creatively expressing yourself in art or in life.

February 28th -- Take it apart, put it together, glue it up, stand back and be amazed. You'll have a truly "integrating" experience with Collage Techniques.

All classes meet at MomiLani Paper Arts. 11- 3. $75/class with $10 materials fee.

Mandala Workshop-Open Your Heart!

Special chance to take a workshop with Dr. Jane Hendrickson. This focuses just on creating healing Mandalas using Judith Cornell techniques.

Monotypes (instructor: Adrienne Momi)
A monotype is a one time image made with simple printmaking techniques. Monotypes can be marvelous pieces of art and can be created without a great deal of printmaking skill. These little “jewels” often exhibit a spontaneity not obtained in any other medium—and making them can be lots of fun regardless of your skill level.

Let your imagination go wild making handmade paper and making hand decorated papers. And then, learn a variety of simple bookbinding techniques using that paper. A perfect beginning for that journal you always wanted to keep or the memory book of photos from a special occasion. . .or just to have beautiful paper and books in your life.

Our dreams and imaginations are often filled with images that appear from the deep subconscious. If we can “let our imaginations go” and open the doors to Psyche, we can paint those images and learn important things about ourselves, things that can help us to live more consciously. Please bring a willing heart and soul to class.

Learn to explore the wonderful world of collage. We will create our own
altered papers and incorporate them with foriegn texts, stamps, and exotic papers.
Paper transfers and other techniques will also be demonstrated.
